Breanne - Salon Manager and Master Stylist

My name is Breanne! I have been behind the chair, turning dreams into reality for 15 years now. I was born and raised in Thompson. I am a beauty industry enthusiast, always making clients feel and look their best. Always loving the beauty industry, I completed the high school trade certification program at RD Parker Collegiate and began working as a hairstylist upon graduation. Soon after, I received my red seal as a journeyman hairstylist. With many years of experience, Salon Italia and I are able to apprentice new and upcoming stylists in the industry.

Throughout my journey, I took as many educational classes and certifications as were available in which I was interested. Nail Technician at MC College, Classic and Volume lashing, hair extensions, sew-in and tape-in, keraflext with Hotheads. I have been a participant and attended many prestigious events regarding the hair industry all over the world. Keeping up with the ever-changing industry and learning new techniques and skills like the psychology of hairstyling and people, master colouring classes, haircutting and hairstyling techniques. I had the honour of being asked to put my talents to work backstage at the Artego Globe Hair Show in Pomezia, Italy, such a great experience and such a proud moment. Always wanting to keep myself busy, I recently graduated from a Basic Business Certification program at UCN to help me run my successful Hair Salon.

Daveigh Hairstylist

Hey Everyone, my name is Daveigh – a proud hairstylist from Cross Lake, Pimicikamak Cree Nation!

I started my journey in cosmetology in high school. Now I am working as a junior stylist, building my skills and doing what I love every day.

I love to work with blondes and balayages. One of my goals is to try a bold colour with a custom design one day, so if you are feeling adventurous … let’s talk!

I also love doing braids, and when I’m not in the salon, I’m probably at home with my little sister and my cat, Poo-Poo (yes that’s her real name) I also do beadwork on the side – creativity doesn’t just stop at hair!

I can’t wait to grow, learn and create more magic behind the chair!

Liza – Eyebrow/Lip Artist

Hello, I am an eyebrow and Lip artist, a passionate beauty professional originally from Ukraine. I moved to Canada three years ago, bringing a deep love for eyebrow design and a dedication to the craft.

At the age of 16, I began searching for my true passion. After much thought, I discovered my love of shaping and drawing eyebrows is something I could happily spend hours doing. This realization led me to pursue formal training, and in 2020, I completed my first eyebrow design course and began working as an eyebrow artist in Ukraine.

In 2022, when the war in Ukraine began, I relocated to Canada. I have worked a variety of jobs before joining Salon Italia, where I initially started as a receptionist. However, my passion and skills didn't go unnoticed, and before long, I began taking on new clients and doing what I love most.

Since then, I have continued to grow in the beauty industry. I completed an Eyebrow Lamination course in 2023 and have recently finished a Permanent Makeup course, specializing in powder brows and lip blush. I am incredibly excited to offer a wide range of services and continue doing what I truly love.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking for family and friends, exploring new places through travel or road trips, and spending a lot of quality time with my loved ones. I am proud to have found my passion in the beauty industry and so very excited to share it with others.

Hi, I’m Paola!  Originally from Costa Rica, I’m a 28-year-old nail artist and lash extension enthusiast, now calling Canada home. I moved here recently to join the amazing team at Salon Italia.

I’ve been doing nails since 2015 and worked with lash extensions. For me, this isn't just a job – it’s a dream I’ve had since I was a child! The best part of my work is the connections I build with clients, getting to know their stories, and turning our time together into lasting friendships.

I’m constantly growing, whether it’s through courses in accounting, English, or refining my nail skills. There’s always something new to learn, and I love it!

Moving abroad has been such an enriching experience, and I feel so lucky to be part of this incredible place and community.

Born & raised in Ukraine, I’m Olena Kovtun!

After graduating from university with a degree in management, I worked as a chief manager in the beauty industry, but soon realized my true passion was in hairstyling.

Determined to follow my dream, I moved to Kyiv and graduated from one of the top hair design academies in Ukraine. I honed my craft in a luxury salon in Kyiv, gaining extensive experience working with a wide range of clients.

In 2017, my family and I made the move to Canada, where I’ve continued to pursue my passion as a hairstylist at Salon Italia.

With a keen eye for detail and a deep love for creating personalized looks, I am committed to making every client feel beautiful and confident. I am always excited to meet new people, learn about their needs, and craft the perfect hairstyle for every client.

Hey everyone, I’m Casey, originally from Albert,a but moved to Thompson in grade 8—and it was just a year later that I discovered my passion for hairstyling. Since then, I’ve been all in! I recently completed my Red Seal certification, and I’m currently expanding my skills by taking a facial course.

I specialize in vivid, fashion-forward colours and long women’s cuts. There's something incredibly energizing—and oddly relaxing—about being in the salon. I thrive in that creative, fast-paced environment, and I love creating looks that make clients feel comfortable, confident, and excited about their hair.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading, going for walks, or getting way too invested in my Sims gameplay.

After 3 decades of perfecting and nurturing a passion that began in her youth, she's become a master stylist. Yvonnes' experience managing salons and working alongside other talented artists has not only honed her skills but also given her a unique perspective on customer service. Every day, Yvonne looks forward to doing what she loves: making people feel good.
